Attorney Referral Service

Attorney Referral Service - (847) 221-2681
As a public service, the NWSBA also sponsors an Attorney Referral Service to assure that each person in the community has access to the legal help they need. The program offers “phone in” service.

If you need a lawyer call the Attorney Referral Service at 847-221-2681

Hours: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

How Referrals are Made
When you call the Attorney Referral Service, a member of our staff will refer you to an attorney within your geographical area who practices in the particular field of your legal need. We have over 175 participating attorneys in the service. You will be given the name and telephone number of a participating attorney. You are responsible for making the appointment with the attorney. You will receive a one half-hour consultation with the attorney for a charge of $25.00, which will be due at the time of the consultation.

If you believe the attorney meets your needs, subsequent fees for such services are agreed upon by the attorney and you. You are under no obligation to retain the attorney.
