The Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission (ARDC)

The Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission (ARDC) is responsible for maintaining current records of registration and discipline information for attorneys licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois.  It is also the responsibility of the ARDC to:

• Investigate allegations of misconduct by lawyers; and
• Prosecute cases where misconduct on the part of the attorney suggests a threat to the public or to the integrity of the legal profession.
